Embrace Your Love for Mother Earth by Participating in This Festival Event
The New York Times describes the Festival for the Eno as “a giant backyard barbecue for the creative class: it’s homey and raucous, full of music, dancing, crafts and sweaty kids slurping giant glasses of lemonade.”
Each year since 1980 the Eno River Association has presented the Festival for the Eno to draw thousands of folks to the shaded banks on the Eno River to sing, dance and enjoy great food and crafts, all while learning about natural resource conservation and raising funds for land protection in the Eno River basin. Attendees can "throw" a pot on a clay wheel, watch a water powered grist mill grinding corn, or participate in urban farming, kayaking, weaving, and clean energy demonstrations.
Countless hours of music on five stages, over eighty arts and crafts booths, and numerous food trucks and beverage tents also add to the excitement of this local festival, which requires a single or two-day pass to enter. Held in Durham, North Carolina, Festival for the Eno offers an incredible experience for people of all ages, and is a particularly great choice for families looking to spend a bit of time in nature.
Even though Village at Broadstone Station Apartments in Apex, North Carolina provides you with all of the comfort, convenience, and entertainment you could possibly desire, we encourage our residents to venture outside of our apartment community and explore all that the city has to offer!
