Celebrate Real Stars During the ‘Find Your Way in the Sky’ Event

The staff from the American Tobacco Trail and the Agape Center for Environmental Education are co-hosting this 2016 Statewide Star Party themed "Find Your Way in the Sky" as part of the NC Science Festival. This free event will take place on the American Tobacco Trail at the White Oak Parking Field under the stars. All ages and skill levels are welcome to attend. There will be some fun hands-on activities early in the evening including constellation storytelling. As the sun goes down, you will begin to observe the night sky through telescopes and binoculars. Bring your curiosity, a water bottle, chair or blanket, your own viewing instrument, if you have one, and dress for the weather!

It’s hard to leave home sometimes—trust us, we know. But Village at Broadstone Station in Apex, North Carolina, believes it is important to not only stay active in your community, but to also express curiosity about new subjects. This event is the perfect opportunity to spread your roots and learn new things.
